The Laboratory of Communication Network Security is aiming at the national strategic needs, and focuses on the research of air-space-ground integrated network and information security, multi-antenna communication system, etc. The scientific research achievements of the laboratory are 2 national awards, and 7 provincial and ministerial awards. And the laboratory has published more than 10 textbooks and monographs.

The laboratory is active in international cooperation and exchanges, cooperating with many universities and research institutions such as National University of Singapore, Imperial College London, University of New South Wales, and Deakin University in Australia, and inviting national leading talents and overseas chair professors to participate in the international conferences in the field researched by the laboratory. Professors and students of the laboratory are recommended to other countries to carry out long-term/short-term cooperation and academic exchanges.

Funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China Outstanding Youth Science Fund/Major Research Program/General Program/Youth Program/National Key R&D Program/Beijing Natural Science Foundation/Beijing Municipal Education Commission and a series of collaborative projects with high-tech companies at home and abroad, the laboratory is engaged in applying basic research and key technology research and development in wireless communication, information theory, computer network, swarm intelligence and broadband ad-hoc network.

The laboratory has totally published 404 international journals and conference papers, including 251 SCI journal papers, 2 ESI hot papers, 14 ESI highly cited papers, 9111 Google Scholar citations, and has authorized 51 international/national invention patents.

The laboratory is committed to the construction of teaching staff and the cultivation of outstanding talents. There are currently 5 professors (2 with senior professional title, 2 with deputy senior professional title, and 1 with intermediate professional title), including 3 national-level young talents. There are 36 graduate students, including 20 doctoral students and 16 master students. 4 persons won the national scholarship, 1 person won the outstanding graduate of Beijing, 1 person won the outstanding doctoral dissertation of the Chinese Institute of Electronics(CIE), 2 persons won the school-level outstanding master graduates (one of them won the outstanding graduation thesis simultaneously).
