Solar UAV Multi-Hop Communication Test
At the beginning of April 2022, the project team of the Communication Network Security Laboratory went to a fire rescue training base in the northwest of Beijing to carry out the dynamic mobile test of the self-developed multi-antenna broadband ad hoc network communication equipment in the air-to-ground multi-hop scenario.
The testers mounted the self-developed equipment on the solar-powered UAV and high-speed moving vehicles on the ground, forming a three-node network with fixed equipment on the ground. The test results showed that the ground node could stably receive the high-definition video images sent back by the UAV node and the vehicle-mounted mobile node.
Self-developed multi-antenna broadband ad hoc network communication equipment could meet the requirements of high-definition image backhaul in fire rescue scenarios, flexibly and quickly build a high-speed and large-scale forest protection communication security network, and effectively support forest fire protection fire identification, monitoring and rescue work.
