Application of Xinjiang Frontier Defense Complex Environment
At the end of February 2022, the project team of the Communication Network Security Laboratory went to Urumqi, Xinjiang to carry out field tests of self-developed multi-antenna broadband ad hoc network communication equipment in the complex environment of border defense.
In order to simulate the border defense environment, the testers carried out a multi-node (three-node) networking communication test in a complex mountain environment. In complex mountainous environments and severe occlusions, the self-developed equipment showed good transmission performance, and both voice and video services could be transmitted smoothly. In addition, the testers mounted the device on the UAV to simulate the periodic patrol of the border line, and the self-developed device transmitted real-time video to the rear command center when the UAV was moving at high speed.
The self-developed multi-antenna broadband ad hoc network communication equipment meets the urgent needs of border patrol inspection, improves the communication capability in border scenarios, and plays the role of efficient patrol inspection and supervision of illegal border crossings.
